Thriving at Work

The big idea is: buildings and communities that help people thrive. It is designing with the clear understanding that space needs to advance health and well being. Forget budgets, cost per square meter, deadlines fitting more people in less space; how can we improve health and human experience through design?

Businesses are actually finding that changing the way we look at the design of the space can have a very positive affect on the ROI by measuring things like sick leave and attrition before and after. They are overcoming the idea that well designed space will cost more by measuring the specific costs if they make no change at all.

The bottom line is prospering with realigned thinking - healthy and happy humans is a financially sound business practice! Well - it is about time. Design does equal better living.
